Romania Report 3

1. Things that happened to the team today.

  • Everyone worked very hard today.
  • Even though we were involved in some heavy lifting praise the Lord no one was hurt.

2. Things that happened to the building today.

  • We were able to work all day, even though it looked like rain all day.
  • We were blessed with the prayers of prophet Elijah on the job. Elijah Morar prayed along with everyone else on the job that the rain would miss us. It appeared that the storm was going to hit us with all of its strength, and yet it slowly moved to just one side of the site. As we looked just down the street a few hundred feet, it was raining cats and dogs, yet we continued to work.
  • Today we lifted almost all of the steel frame of the building. No crane, just man power.
  • We feel confident that we will finish the framing tomorrow and start on the metal siding.

3. Things that happened to the church in Batar today.

  • Today we had a little time to witness on the streets. We did have the opportunity though to share with a lady at the end of the day. She was a nurse and was very nice. She was not saved today, but we believe and hope and pray that we will be able to talk some more with her tomorrow.
  • We had a man come by today with many questions, but he was not prepared to hear the gospel. He did tell me that he was lost and knew it. He also said that he was interested in hearing, but he could not focus today on what I was sharing. He said he would come back tomorrow and would be able to listen. He even invited us to come to his house. We pray that this will happen.

4. Current Prayer Needs

  • Thank you for praying about the supplies that we were needing. We were able to find everything today and are now set for the project.
  • Pray that tomorrow we will be able to have a day like today with the construction of the building.
  • Pray that everyone will get a deep sleep tonight. We started the day this morning at 5.30 and finished back here in Oradea at around 8.00. We will have the same schedule tomorrow. Everyone feels great but working hard.
  • Pray that we will be able to witness to those contacted today, and new ones tomorrow.

More pictures will be posted tomorrow showing the steel.
