I can remember when there was a Christian group called "Koinonia." I thought they were great. I have over the years become more and more aware of the significance of other Christians in my life. It goes far beyond a group of people that I know and see once a week. It goes far beyond a group of people that I at times meet with and share with, and even at times study the Bible together. It goes far beyond even those times that I meet together with other Christians and pray and worship together.
I believe that it includes all of these, and maybe is the result of them, but goes places that cannot be understood in this culture of things and places. It is a relationship of knowing others so well that we know their troubles and even in our imperfections are driven by a connection to know and love and relate and care and understand and help and encourage and give and sacrifice. It is a relationship of presence even when we are not there.
We come to know and understand a one-ness of the Spirit. The unity of the heart that Paul speaks of the Philippians. To have the fellowship with Christians that we have with Him and that He desires for us. Thank you Faith-Builders for being what you are to each other. God is working in you.
We Love You,
Rick and Amy
P.S. We found out this week-end that our son and daughter-in-law are going to have another in July. Truly we are blessed.
