We are about to start an expedition through time. A time that is yet to happen. We have a great tour guide, who himself has a great tour guide. The Apostle John, and aging saint of the Lord, under the leadership of the Spirit of God is going to lead us into a time and place that only God Himself understands and can explain. John will describe things in ways that we will totally not understand and in ways that we will find hard to accept. Sometimes we will be even brought to points at which we will even question how anything like this could possibly exist. We must remember that we are reading of things that are heavenly, spiritual, and even Godly.
What would anyone expect to experience on a journey to the very center of everything. To the throne-room of God. Not a replication of His throne room, but the real thing. Everything that we will experience in our journey from this point forward centers around the place that we start in chapters 4 and 5. We must get a clear picture, or I think the word vision may be a better word to use here, yes, a clear vision of the center of everything. Read it carefully this week, and let God birth a new song in your heart as He has in mine.
